Memorial Day Block Party 2007

Saturday we had a block party and set up in the street in front of our house. The street was closed at 5:00 PM. I set up the gas grill, canopy, tables and chairs and we had burgers, dogs, pulled pork, chicken and salads. I also cooked up a large pot of lobster bisque which was a home run. And, of course there were plenty of adult beverages. Having the neighborhood block party on Saturday was a great way to kick off the Memorial Day Weekend. We were out until midnight when a shower caused us to head for the cover of our houses.
