Here we are at the start of our Hike. The route we took to LeConte Lodge is from the Appalachian Trail. The trail is the longest at 8 miles.
Trails are well groomed and marked. This day was National Trails Day and we met several volunteers on the Trail doing maintenance.

Our first water and snack break.
This is the junction where we jump off the Appalachian Trail and head up to LeConte.
A nice Vista and a good place for a picture and a breather.
The trail gets steep and tough near the top.

Are we almost there yet?
